| Del Norte County's bird list is 410. A total 184 bird species have been seen during the Festival weekend, from the Red-throated Loon to the Black-bellied Plover... from Osprey seizing their fish right before the eyes of kayakers on Lake Earl... to a colony of Black-crowned Night-Herons on the Smith River drift boat trip... to Marbled and Ancient Murrelets and Spotted and Barred Owls in the ancient redwood forest. | ||
