Rick Hiser

Rick Hiser is one of the original founders and coordinators of the Goose Festival. He has been a commercial photographer for over three decades with a degree in parks and recreation. Rick leads interpretive tours on redwood ecology and salmon spawning for Redwood National and State Parks. He also serves as the president of the North Coast Redwood Interpretive Association and as a docent for the St. George Reef Lighthouse Preservation Society. Some of his spectacular images of the redwoods can be viewed in recent interpretive displays at Redwood National and State Parks' southern entrance Kuchel Information Center.
