Slade Sapora

Slade Sapora works seasonally as a wildlife biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge. Locally born and raised, he has led nature hikes, tidepool walks, and geology trips for adults and children throughout the region. A graduate of Portland State University, Slade blends youthful enthusiasm plus a deep love and knowledge of regional geology and native plants, animals, and birds of the northern California and southern Oregon coast.
