Dr. Paul Springer

Dr. Paul Springer is a Professor Emeritus from Humboldt State University. With degrees from the Universities of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Cornell, Dr. Springer served as a wildlife research biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 36 years before his retirement. Dr. Springer has been a leading member of the Aleutian Canada goose recovery team since 1975. While working in Alaska, Oregon, and California, he directed the study of the population, distribution, and ecology of the geese.
