The Goose Festival Steering Committee has taken a long hard look at the world in general, at our community specifically (sponsors and donors) and reviewed what has happened with other nonprofit events during the second half of 2008. All events were down in attendance and fundraising by 40-60%. Therefore out of respect for our sponsors, donors and vendors, volunteers, and in order to conserve the extremely limited resources of our festival, we've had to decide to skip 2009 and reschedule for 2010.

We hope that this year to come will see improved circumstances, good health, and wonderful times out in nature for all of us. We will email you an announcement when our 2010 registration opens.
